3. Description of Service

UConvertX provides a collection of free online conversion tools spanning multiple categories, including but not limited to: unit conversion, image format conversion, PDF manipulation, data format transformation, text processing, encoding and decoding, color format conversion, date and time conversion, and number system conversion.

All conversions are performed entirely within your web browser using client-side JavaScript and WebAssembly technology. No files or data are uploaded to our servers during the conversion process.

4. User Accounts

UConvertX does not require user registration or account creation. All tools are freely accessible without authentication. We do not store usernames, passwords, or any account-related information.

5. Acceptable Use

You may use the Service for any lawful personal or commercial conversion tasks. You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive the source code of the Service

Because all conversions are performed client-side in your browser, we do not and cannot monitor, review, or access the content you process. We bear no responsibility for the nature, legality, or appropriateness of your content.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by UConvertX. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You acknowledge and agree that UConvertX shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss caused by or in connection with the use of any such third-party content, goods, or services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Without limiting the foregoing, UConvertX does not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Conversion results will be 100% accurate or suitable for any specific purpose
• The Service will be compatible with all browsers, devices, or operating systems
• Any defects or errors in the Service will be corrected
• The Service will meet your specific requirements

You acknowledge that conversion results may vary depending on input quality, file format complexity, and browser capabilities. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any conversion output before relying on it.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL UConvertX, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities
• Inaccurate conversion results or corrupted output files
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data
• Any other matter relating to the Service

In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars ($100), whichever is less. Since the Service is provided free of charge, this effectively limits our liability to $0.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless UConvertX and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with:

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if modification is not possible, shall be severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
